Bill Fetter William Fetter (1928- 2002) was an American computer graphics artist. He coined the term Computer Graphics in 1960, to describe his work at Boeing. In 1964 he made the first computer model of a human body ("Boeing Man"). Bill joined the SIU design department staff in 1970 and served as chair for a number of years.
